This book offers some of the best scholarly thinking on the psuedopigraphic literature sometimes called inter testimental literature mostly Jewish writings from about 300 BCE to 100CE While I find some of the source literatures itself very fascinating, I found myself less interested in his scholarly explanation of the literature I want to be clear, for those of a scholarly bent, this material is excellent, it just didn t quite hold my interest So my rating of the book has nothing to do with the [...]
