    1. I was lucky enough to win this book in a GoodReads First Reads giveaway. The first thing that jumped right out at me was the fun, bright pictures That led me to notice the paper the book is made from I love the paper Not usually something I notice about a book Even though this is a Christmas book, it definitely has a non seasonal message for year round fun Just because you look bad doesn t mean you have to be bad There is clearly to Captain Rob, Saunders, the Crimson Bounty and the rest of the c [...]

I received this book as a firstreads giveaway It s a short chapter book I d say its about a 2nd to 3rd grade reading level, but I could be way wrong It s a great little story It has lots of action and holds your interest There isn t a ton of pictures, but the few it does has are nicely done It has a great Christmas feel to it and could become a Christmas favorite I could see it developing into a series.
