    2. Glad I picked this one upI have to admit I put this book down for a couple of months after reading the first chapter or so, but having come back to it after a break, I was glad that I did.It s an intelligently written ghost story, which reflecting the best of British spook tales and telling the story of an historical evil inflicted upon a modern rural community

    3. I am a huge fan of Jerry s first book Chosen and have been waiting for this book for a while It s a totally separate story to Chosen and is of a horror than the fantasy from Chosen.Jerry weaves his spell throughout the book with interesting characters and a compelling story line that keeps you guessing right to the end.It reminds me of a couple of my favourite old horror movies but is still an original and entertaining read.I wasn t disappointed and just hope I don t have to wait quite so long [...]

    4. This was an incredible story I loved the characters and the way it was written, with a gripping plot and strong message It was quite detailed and each character was well developed and extremely realistic not your conventional heroes It was impossible to put down and although the story doesn t unfold until later in the book, it s never boring As I m from Yorkshire, the references to places I know and have visited made me smile too I d recommend The Veil if you re looking for a fantastic read.
